Auckland offers excellent quality of living according to 2015 survey

A recent survey by global recruitment consultancy firm Mercer has ranked the city of Auckland third in the global Quality of Living Index.

The survey is aimed at helping employers to choose where in the world they might locate their staff, ranking the quality of living by factors such as climate, political stability, crime rates and infrastructure. Western European cities dominate the top ten, but Auckland makes it to third place, and Sydney in Australia comes in to the chart at tenth place.

New Zealand’s capital city Wellington also did well in the ranking appearing just below the top ten in 12th place.
