What people say

Hi  Sarah,

I trust you are well? I’ve been meaning to drop you a line to thank you for your help since I got back from NZ, and to update you on my time at Canterbury University.

Firstly, I can heartily recommend Christchurch as a city for anyone to study in. Twenty minutes from the beach, half an hour from the mountains, can’t complain!

The locals are very friendly and the staff at Canterbury were particularly pleasant to deal with. The Foundation Studies course I took was nothing short of excellent. Enthusiastic tutors who believe in the students and a great support network for academic and personal issues.

The material itself was stimulating and confirmed that my choice of career change and intention to study Law was the right one. Unfortunately it wasn’t viable for me to study long term in NZ, but the good news is, out of the 7 modules I took, I got a stonking 5 A’s, an A+ and a B (somewhat ironically in Law...). These grades supported the UCAS application I made earlier and, combined with my LNAT score, means I have been offered a place to study Law at University College London starting in September.

So now I’m rejoicing in the fact I will be a poor student for the next few years and missing New Zealand. A lot. This massive regret at leaving a country on the other side of the world to return ‘home’ has all been made possible with the work you did initially a year ago – thank you.

Anyway! I’m sure you’re very busy making other people like me very happy, so thank you again and best of luck for the future!

Best regards, Tristan Oliver

Hey Study Options,

Just thought I’d keep you up to date with everything that’s going on.

I started at University on Monday and have been incredibly busy ever since! The speech therapy course is really demanding, but also incredibly interesting so that helps to even out the huge workload!

I hope you are both well and that the weather’s slowly picking up back home! I’d also like to thank you for all your help and advice with this process. I love studying here in New Zealand, so thank you for helping me.

Warm regards,

Lucia

Hi guys,

Well, my flight is on the 24th June so only two weeks left to go! My student visa for NZ arrived yesterday so I’m all sorted… I think!

Thanks so much for all your help with everything, I don’t think I could have got this all done without all your advice.

Georgina.

Hi Stefan and Sarah,

I did receive the CoE, thank you for sending it through. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you very much for all of your help and guidance in securing my place at Flinders University, I am very grateful.

Kind regards

Sharon

Hi Sarah,

I just wanted to drop you a quick line to say thank you for your help with my application to
La Trobe University and with my visa application.

I have been in Bendigo now for six weeks and
I am having a great time. The University is really supportive of international students and I have made a lot of new international friends. One of my new friends also came through Study Options and benefited from your assistance – we recently had a conversation about how helpful you were so I thought I would pass on the praise. My new friend’s name is Beccy, I’m sure you remember her.

Thank you for everything.

Best wishes,

Sophie Ward

“Studying abroad can be a daunting process, especially when gathering information on what best meets your needs and what you need to prepare for. That’s where Study Options comes in. Sarah and Stefan have been a great help. Any queries, at virtually any time of day, they were there to offer invaluable advice. They definitely made the process of applying to study abroad a lot easier and less stressful. They take care of everything! And it’s free!! To be honest I don’t think I would have been half as prepared to study abroad if it had not been for the support Study Options provides.”
Kejal Patel, currently studying Master of Psychology at the University of New South Wales, Sydney

“An increasing number of our sixth formers are looking to combine travel with global education opportunities at degree level. Study Options has enabled me to provide these students with accurate advice on the excellent range of university courses available in Australia and New Zealand. Any student wishing to study in these countries should most definitely contact Study Options to ensure they explore all options and, most importantly, receive the free personal assistance offered with each university application.”
Debbie Anderson, Careers Consultant, St Bede’s School, East Sussex

“I went to Australia in 2001 and loved it, so thought studying there would be a good way to come back. I started looking into it and, once I’d found Study Options, all the information I needed was presented very clearly. They provided all the information I needed quickly and efficiently, and also told me about scholarship opportunities I would not have found out about otherwise. The best thing about using them was that I always had consistent contact, and very clear instructions on what I needed to do. The information they gave me before I enrolled gave me a very good, accurate picture of what to expect when I got here.”
Sally Freedman, studying Master of Business (Sport Management) at Griffith University

“I did my undergraduate degrees at UCD, which is just ten minutes from my house in Dublin, so for my postgraduate course I looked into studying abroad. My biggest priorities when choosing a university were the international reputation of the university and the quality of the course – Study Options made it easy for me to find out the information I needed. I’d rate my experience with them 10 out of 10 – I had no problems at all and they were very helpful, particularly with the speed of their responses and the clarity of the instructions they sent.”
Ciara Dunlea, studying Master of Applied Commerce at the University of Melbourne
