Headmasters Academy was founded by Donna and Wayne Gannon with the aim of helping to raise skills and service standards in the Australian hairdressing, beauty and spa industries.

These industries immediately embraced Headmasters, sending apprentices to undertake their training. Headmasters soon became the largest private provider of hairdressing training in Australia.

Donna and Wayne have now been considered industry leaders for more than four decades and have been recognised and awarded both nationally and internationally.

Headmasters is located in Collins Street, the centre of Melbourne’s fashion precinct. It provides state-of-the-art professional facilities and trainers to create an environment that will equip students with the skills, attitude and commitment that will be welcomed by future clients and employers alike.

Headmasters recently launched the Advanced Diploma of Spa (Management), a qualification designed in consultation with industry experts which allows students to take the next step in developing their careers in the health and wellness industry. It has also introduced qualifications in fashion design, and so now delivers a complete package of training across the creative and technical skill industries.

Over recent years Headmasters reputation has become international, with students coming from all over the world to benefit from its training.
