A qualification from ASTHM opens doors to leading positions in the industry anywhere in the world and our students’ accomplishments stand as testimony to our commitment to education and training.
The ASTHM experience
ASTHM offers international students far more than just an international qualification. It offers an educational and personal experience which will hopefully be among the most enjoyable and significant of their life.
Upon arrival, new students are given a special welcome so that they can quickly settle into their new surroundings and gain a sense of belonging. Orientation Week enables students to meet their lecturers, other new students and be introduced to the School. It is particularly designed to help international students with the issues unique to those studying in a foreign country, such as getting used to a new culture and lifestyle, finding suitable accommodation and transport and travel arrangements. It also introduces the support services offered by the School, including study support and student counselling services. By the time the semester begins, students feel at home within the School and are better prepared to experience everything that ASTHM has to offer, as well as to thoroughly enjoy the new experience of living and studying in Australia.
