Living in Adelaide
TAFE SA is located in Adelaide, the capital of South Australia. Adelaide is a welcoming place that provides a relaxed, healthy and welcoming study environment. It has few of the problems of larger cities with very little congestion, pollution or crime. It was also one of the first cities in Australia to invite people from all over the world to settle and freely practise their culture and religion. Today, the city is still very inclusive and respectful of diversity. Multicultural Adelaide also serves up a feast of the world’s cuisines and has more restaurants per head than any other city on the planet!
The state of South Australia, meanwhile, is clean and green with beautiful beaches, huge forests, ancient mountains, rivers, deserts and wonderful wildlife. This makes it a great place for your Australian adventure. You can enjoy diving, cycling, surfing, sailing, caving, camping, parachuting, canoeing, hiking, and gliding, among many other activities.
Adelaide offers a world-class education and a great lifestyle, but at a lower cost than many other locations in Australia. As a student you’ll find accommodation costs, public transport and general living very affordable. Recent statistics suggest Adelaide is the least expensive Australian mainland city to live in.
