Applications still open for next university intake in Australia and New Zealand - semester 1 (February) 2012
If you haven't yet applied for universities in Australia and New Zealand, it's not too late. Applications for the vast majority of degrees starting in February 2012, the next term, are open until Friday, October 28th, 2011, so there's still plenty of time to make an application AFTER you get your A-Level, IB or Scottish Higher exam results next week.
So if you don't like the look of the UK offers you are currently holding, and definitely don't want to brave Clearing, there's no need to panic.
Australian and New Zealand university terms start in February (at the end of the Southern Hemisphere summer) rather than in September, and applications for courses starting in February 2012 can be submitted to Study Options right up until Friday October 28th.
Once you have your exam results, you can apply for an unconditional offer of place straightaway.
