RMIT launches new programme: Master of Games, Animation and Interactivity
RMIT University in Melbourne has launched a new Masters programme – the Master of Games, Animation and Interactivity – which is designed to equip students with the skills they need to excel in the ever-evolving digital media industry. RMIT has been a leader in teaching creative media for over twenty years and this programme builds on that expertise and the university’s determination to produce industry-ready graduates.
Deputy Dean of Design, Games and Interaction, Associate Professor Laurene Vaughan, says: “The digital media landscape is constantly evolving, often driven by technological advances, and this new degree has been designed to keep pace with the constant growth and opportunities that this brings.”
The programme will be practice, project and studio-based and will equip graduates to work in industries such as motion graphics design, interaction design, app and web development and 2D or 3D animation.
