MBA team at the University of Queensland win national teaching award
The winners of the 2014 Australian Awards for University Teaching were announced at the beginning of December, many of the universities represented by Study Options have won awards for their quality teaching staff. Amongst the winners are the teaching team behind the University of Queensland’s MBA programme.
UQ’s MBA is notable for being one of the top MBA programmes in the World and number one in the Asia Pacific region as ranking by The Economist. The programme equips graduates with sophisticated skills in leadership and knowledge across business disciplines.
The MBA teaching team won the award for Programs that Enhance Learning in the Postgraduate Education category, and is led by Dr Polly Parker. Other team members are Professor Fiona Rohde, Associate Professor John Steen, Associate Professor Neil Paulsen and Dr Timothy Kastelle.
The MBA programme at the University of Queensland is run in the Business School, which has an excellent reputation for research and strong links with industry, so that the programme’s content is always fresh and relevant.
