Study Options’ Australian and New Zealand University Open Days 2014

Study Options Open Days are free information events designed to give students, parents and careers advisors the chance to find out more about studying at Australian and New Zealand universities.

Attending the Open Days is an opportunity not to be missed - these are the only events in the UK where you can meet and talk to a large number of Australian and New Zealand universities face-to-face, and under one roof. Go along to find out more about the universities, the courses available, accommodation options, campus lifestyles and facilities, and more.

Prestigious universities that will be attending the 2014 events include: The University of Newcastle, The University of New South Wales, The University of Sydney, Bond University, Griffith University, James Cook University, The University of Queensland, Monash University, RMIT University, The University of Melbourne, The University of Tasmania, Curtin University, Murdoch University, The University of Western Australia, The University of Canterbury and The University of Otago.

The Study Options team and the university representatives travel to five different UK cities during the Open Days week.  Even if you have to travel to get an event, it will be quicker and less expensive than travelling to Australia or New Zealand to visit universities!  In 2014 Open Days events will be held in:

Monday June 2: Edinburgh
Tuesday 3 June: Manchester
Wednesday 4 June: Birmingham
Thursday 5 June: Bristol
Friday 6 June: London

More details about the Open Days - including locations, maps and opening times – are on this website.  The events run all afternoon so you don’t have to turn up at a particular time, but if a university is very popular, you might have to wait your turn.  It’s a good idea to arrive early if you can – the representatives are so helpful that you could be chatting for some time!

Study Options is the official representative of Australian and New Zealand universities in the UK, which means they can help you start your research before the Open Days. Contact Study Options for lists of the courses available in your chosen subject and a copy of their general prospectus, the useful “Guide 2014”, which contains information about all the universities. Doing this kind of preparation beforehand will allow you to narrow down which universities to talk to, and what questions you want to ask them.

The friendly Study Options team will be at each event too so please ask them about any aspect of studying in Australia or New Zealand, including visas, costs, scholarships or just which universities are best to speak to about your chosen course. You can bring your application with you to the Open Days and submit it there if you wish. No application fees will be charged at the Open Days.

The Open Days are totally free for students to attend, but please register online beforehand so that Study Options can help you make the most out of the event.

The Open Days will be held in March and November during 2015, please see this page for more information about the March Open Days or visit the Study Options Open Days website.
