"Griffith was the first place I learnt the power of knowledge and how to apply it. It’s innovative, it’s creative and it’s constantly trying to think outside the square. Griffith taught me to use my knowledge as the foundation for the big picture, which means I now know how to keep the show on the road. When you’re working as part of a multi-billion dollar industry worldwide, there’s a lot to consider. But having those fundamentals means you can call upon your core skills and be confident knowing hand-to-heart that you’re making the best decisions you can."
Fabienne Wintle studied Bachelor of Business with a major in International Tourism Management. Fabienne has now started her own business, to bridge the gap between information and communication technology in small to medium tourism enterprises and was recently honoured with the Queensland Tourism's Young Achiever Award.
"Studying at Griffith was an enriching experience. Much of the learning was project based, so it was very practical and the teaching staff were excellent. If you're considering further study, but unsure, talk to the staff - they're a great help."
