In March the Open Days events will be held on:
Friday 22 March, 2pm - 5pm: Crowne Plaza hotel, Nottingham
Saturday 23 March, 1.30pm - 6pm: Australia House, London
More details about the Open Days - including locations, maps and opening times – are on this website. There are no scheduled events within the Open Days so you don’t have to turn up at a particular time, but if a university is very popular, you might have to wait your turn. It’s a good idea to arrive early if you can – the representatives are so helpful that you could be chatting for some time!
Study Options is the official representative of Australian and New Zealand universities in the UK, which means they can help you start your research before the Open Days. Contact Study Options for lists of the courses available in your chosen subject and a copy of the general prospectus, the useful Guide 2019, which contains information about all the universities. Doing this kind of preparation beforehand will allow you to narrow down which universities to talk to, and what questions you want to ask them.
The friendly Study Options team will be at each event too so please ask them about any aspect of studying in Australia or New Zealand, including visas, costs, scholarships or just which universities are best to speak to about your chosen course. You can bring your application with you to the Open Days and submit it there if you wish. Qualified applicants are welcome to apply for application fee waivers at the Open Days, please speak to the individual university representative to have this applied.
The Open Days are totally free for students to attend, but you will need to register online beforehand via the Open Days website, so that Study Options can help you make the most out of the event.
