The Endeavour Awards is the Australian Government's internationally competitive, merit-based scholarship programme, providing opportunities for citizens of the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Europe and Americas to undertake study, research and professional development in Australia.

The 2011 round is now open, and will close on 31 July 2010. For detailed information on how to apply, eligibility requirements, Award values and other important information please visit the website.

Meanwhile, applications for the next round of the Northcote Graduate Scholarship scheme will be accepted between 28 June and 27 August 2010.

The Northcote Scholarship is administered by the Britain-Australia Society.

Scholarships are to enable students normally resident in the United Kingdom to undertake a higher degree at an Australian university for a period of up to three years. The scholarship provides economy class airfares to Australia, payment of compulsory fees and charges at an Australian university and an annual allowance.

Please note that this is a graduate scholarship scheme for Australian study - it is NOT open to students wanting to pursue undergraduate degree programmes, or any study in New Zealand.
