New pathway to study medicine at Flinders University
Flinders in South Australia has announced a new undergraduate pathway into its medical degree for international applicants, including students applying from the UK. Previously, the University has only offered medicine as a graduate entry degree.
School-leavers wanting to apply directly to medicine, rather than completing an undergraduate degree first, now have the option at Flinders of applying to the Bachelor of Clinical Sciences/Doctor of Medicine (BSC/MD) degree. Please click here for full details of the programme, or contact Study Options for more information.
There are 10 places available for international students in the BSC/MD programme each year. These places are available for secondary school graduates who have no prior record of study at higher education level. Applications will be assessed on the basis of secondary school results, achievements in the International Students Admissions Test (ISAT) and, for selected applicants, their performance in a semi-structured interview.
Please note that the window for applications to this programme is very short - applications for the S1 2015 intake will open on March 6th 2014, and will close on June 30th 2014 (Australian Central Time). If you have any questions or would like to make an application for this programme please contact Study Options.
