New Science Masters launching at UWA
The Faculty of Science at the University of Western Australia have recently launched five new two-year Masters programmes:
- Master of Biomedical Science
- Master of Geographical Information Science
- Master of International Development
- Master of Biotechnology
- Master of Health Science
The Master of Biotechnology is the only programme of its kind in Australia and offers students the opportunity to gain a thorough grounding in state-of-the-art biotechnology in combination with training in enterprise and commercialisation. It combines the expertise of the Faculty of Science with that of the UWA Business School.
The Master of Health Science programme offers the option to specialise in a number of areas such as Exercise and Health and Human Biology. As part of this programme students will also undertake an industry placement, ensuring that they are 'job ready' at the end of the programme.
UWA will soon be announcing scholarships for students studying these programmes, so keep an eye on our website for updates.
