New programmes in translation and interpreting at UNSW Australia

UNSW Australia has announced three new Masters programmes in translation and interpreting that will begin in 2015.  The new programmes are the Master of Translation & Interpreting (2 years), Master of Interpreting (1.5 years) and Master of Translation (1 - 1.5 years).

All the degrees are accredited by NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) which means that graduates will have the skills they need to work professionally as translators in Australia and around the world.

The programmes are taught by leading researchers and practitioners to help students develop advanced skills and knowledge, and prepare for a future as a professional interpreter, translator or both.

Students studying translation and interpreting at UNSW will have access to the latest technological equipment including training stations, simultaneous interpreting booths and a moot courtroom.
