New taught masters degrees at the University of Canterbury

The University of Canterbury have introduced a new series of taught postgraduate masters degrees, postgraduate and graduate diplomas.  These programmes are designed for students looking to extend their current skills and knowledge in a range of fields.

Many of the programmes require just one year’s study, which makes them an excellent choice for graduates looking to quickly boost their career or in some cases to gain skills needed to work in a new specialism.

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Business*
  • Master of International Law and Politics
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Art Curatorship
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism*
  • Master of European Union Studies*
  • Master of Linguistics
  • Graduate Diploma in Forestry*
  • Master of Engineering Studies
  • Master of Engineering in Transportation
  • Graduate Diploma in Science*
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Water Resource Management
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Geographic Information Science
  • Master of Disaster, Risk and Resilience
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences
  • Master of Teaching and Learning*

* Applicants do not require a background in the field of study
