Study in one of the world's most liveable cities
For the seventh year running, Melbourne has been awarded the highest ranking by the Economist Intelligence Unit’s Global Liveability survey, with half of the top ten made up from cities in Australia and New Zealand. Adelaide, Perth and Auckland also feature in this year's ranking.
In the Liveability Ranking, each city is rated out of 100 in the areas of healthcare, education, stability, culture and environment and infrastructure. The average score is then taken to create the ranking table. Melbourne came first with a score of 97.5 out of 100. Adelaide remains in joint 5th place after last year, with Perth at 7 and Auckland at 8. You can find out more about the results of the 2017 ranking in this Telegraph article.
